Don't assume that intermediaries get in the signal path between
clients and servers; rather, intermediaries tell the client where
to find the services it is looking for. If that's at a local cache,
acting on behalf of a group of clients, fine; if that's at a nearby
mirror acting on behalf of the content-provider, that's also fine.
