Keith,
You should know better than anyone that documentation does not equal
standardization in the IETF.
Right now based on the E-mail dialog I see the following:
WREC members want to pull the ID for WPAD officially under WREC.
WREC members want to minimally take this ID and push it forward as a
informational RFC. This is what is happening with the rest of our protocol
documentation.
WREC members want the door open to do future work on WREC if field
experience warrants and move towards the standards track.
Areas Director wants none of the above.
Is this what others are seeing?
