Whew, it's actually a relief... thanks, Duane :-)! The
coincidence here *is* highly ironic...
I can include this as an Implementation known problem (an
implementation of a web server is not following the specification). I'd
like to understand how many web servers suffer this problem, though that
might not be easy... What do you other folks think?
I've heard anecdotal evidence of content length being incorrect
in responses and browsers having to accomodate that. Is anyone willing
to formally summarize those anecdotes, their implications, and current
workarounds/solutions? Thanks,
